Akmetal Exploration and Project Design Group works with 5 geology engineers, 3 map technicians, and 35 drilling staffs. There are 13 drilling machines in total consisting of 5 underground and 8 surface machines within the Exploration Group.

The Exploration Group have carried out the core drilling of 124,924.25 meters from the year 2010 until today and currently continue its drilling work of 2500 – 3000 m per month uninterruptedly.

Akmetal Exploration Group has the followings within its structure:

• 1/5000-1000-500-200 scaled surface and underground geological mapping
• Preparation and application of the drilling program in the scope of the Project.
• Preparation of the cores obtained from the drilling studies (logging-photographing-analysis processes, and storing)
• Preparation of the ore model with the data prepared in the end of the Project and reserve-grade studies
• Preparation and submission of open-close mining projects

Our works are generally focused on the chrome and lead-zinc drillings were started to be carried out recently. Barite and coal drillings will also be started in the next process.
