KIZILYÜKSEK Chrome BED

Kızılyüksek chrome bed is 15 km away from Aladağ district and 8 km from Kumbükü chrome concentrate facilities.

In the bed, 72 drillings had been carried out at 30 locations by Dama in the year 2007, 28 drillings at 8 locations by Pınar Mining Corp. in the year 2010, and 100 drillings at 76 locations by Akmetal Mining Corp. and 200 drillings and 29,266.5 meters of drillings had been compiled and reported in the same year.

Kızılyüksek chrome bed mineralization is inclined to the southwest with K220-K250/40-60 degrees. However, general faults in the bed are in south-west and northeast-southwest direction and inclined to the east and the southeast with 50-80 degrees.

As a result of studies carried out in Kızılyüksek chrome site, 105,576,849 tons of 4,74% Cr2O3 graded ore were determined. Topsoil/Excavation ratio is 1/1,3.
