KUMBÜKÜ-1 FACILITY

The first step of the enrichment at the facility is the crusher unit. Chrome ore transferred to the facility is crushed below 200 mm and supplied to the grinding phase.

Ore processing capacity of the facility is 3000 tons/day. 3 of 6 functional mills are 2400×3000 sized main rod mill, each having a capacity of 1000 tons/day and 2100×3000 sized secondary ball mill. The ore grinded at the mills are reduced below 800 microns and supplied to vibrating tables. 270 vibrating tables operate at the facility. The amount of produced daily concentrate is the chrome concentrate of 200 tons/day on average.

KUMBÜKÜ-2 FACILITY

Crushing process is carried out first at the facility and the chrome or is crushed below 20 mm. Ore processing capacity of the facility is 4000 tons/day. Again 6 mills work at this facility. 4 of them are 2400×3600 sized main rod mill, each having a capacity of 1000 tons/day and 2400×3000 sized secondary ball mill. The ore grinded are reduced below 800 microns and supplied to vibrating tables. 400 vibrating tables operate at the facility. The amount of produced daily concentrate is the chrome concentrate of 200-220 tons/day.

The chrome concentrate produced at both facilities are discharged to the concentrate stocking sites at the facility for dehydration purposes and loaded from dried chrome concentrate stocking sites and transported to the stocking site of Adana.

The waste produced by the facilities are passed from the filter press and dehydrated and stocked at the residue stocking site at the facilities. The water in the process is used again at the facility through recycle.
