BOZGONUŞ-OLUCAK RIDGE MINERALIZATION

Bozgonuş – Olucak Ridge chrome bed site is 23 km away from Aladağ district and 16 km from Kumbükü chrome concentrate facilities.

26 drillings of 1,170 meters had been carried out at 21 locations in total in the year 2012 in the site.

General position of Bozgonuş-Olucak Ridge mineralization is inclined to the northwest in 320/15-45 direction. A 100 m long zone inclined to the northeast with 25 degrees was observed in the north of the investigation area and a 70 m long and 30 m wide second zone inclined with 55-80 degrees in its southeast.

As a result of the studies carried out in Bozgonuş – Olucak Ridge chrome site, a 6,39% Cr2O3 graded reserve of 1,470,919 tons extractable by an open cast mining project. Topsoil/Excavation ratio is 1/0.92.
