BOZLUK Chrome BED
Bozluk chrome bed site is 20 km away from Aladağ district and 13 km from Kumbükü chrome concentrate facilities.
106 drillings of 12,161 meters in total had been carried out between the years 2009 and 2013 and the drilling works continue.
General position of Bozluk site mineralization is in northeast-southwest direction and inclined to the southeast with 60-80 degrees. Two zones parallel to each other are observed inside the mine.
- Zone: Contains Cr2O3 of 8-10% grade and 30 m thickness,
- Zone: Contains Cr2O3 of 4-7% grade and 10 m thickness.
Geology and drilling works carried out in Bozluk chrome bed were compiled in Micromine program and an ore of approximately 3,000,000 tons was determined.
